Alice Tait is a popular British illustrator who loves to draw. After graduating from Bath in 2002 with a first class degree, Alice set up studio in London and has been busy ever since, with a client list including Vogue, Penguin Books, The Times and Waitrose. In recent years Alice’s city map illustrations have proven especially popular and led her to create her first licensed giftware range, Alice Tait London, which has met with great commercial success.
Alice was spotted by Metrostar in an article in The Observer which tipped her as “ … the next Emma Bridgewater”. Their first task was to find her a publisher and Alice’s first picture book, ‘No Nancy No!’ was published by Walker Books. It was an immediate hit with the paperback being published a year later.
Produced by Temple Island Collections, Alice Tait London has grown to become a market leader in premium souvenirs, sold in retail outlets such as John Lewis, WH Smith Travel, the Historic Royal Palaces and Waterstones. In 2018, Alice has added new stationery and accessories lines and a collection of handmade cushions with heritage licensee, WeLoveCushions.
