A finalist in the 2011 series of BBC2’s The Great British Bake Off, Mary-Anne has been cooking and baking for more than 40 years. She is passionate about home cooking and has amassed a library of over 1000 cookery books, with an emphasis on traditional British recipes. Mary Anne’s Great British Bakes: Forgotten Treasures for Modern Bakers, was published by Square Peg. It was one of three books shortlisted for the Fortnum & Mason Food Book of the Year, and won the 2014 Guild of Food Writers First Book Award. Her second book, Deja Food, is about rediscovering the culinary wisdom of times past.
