Tesco launch Elmer Babywear

F&F at Tesco launched its first Elmer baby range which comprised a bodysuit set and a pyjama set. The collection was designed by licensee Paul Dennicci.

Licensees celebrate World Book Day

To celebrate World Book Day, Andersen Press ran their first influencer campaign. Managed by License to PR, the gift packs included a costume from Amscan, a book, plush from Rainbow Designs and Tesco babywear by Paul Dennicci. The pack was sent to 12 influencers and generated an estimated total reach of 301,372 and 93 total pieces of coverage. In addition, Amscan, Elmer’s fancy dress licensee, launched costumes in Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Tesco.

NEW PARTNERS FOR ELMER

Leading puzzles company, Ravensburger and Wall Art specialists, Stickerscape have joined Elmer’s growing family of licensees. Ravensburger will focus on puzzles and Stickerscape will produce a range of Elmer scenes for nurseries, playrooms and bedrooms.

TU at Sainsbury’s have launched their sixth collection of Elmer babywear. The range consists of eleven styles from licensee Paul Dennicci and is inspired by a new softer look, created for Elmer and Andersen Press by Marshmallow Design. The range has been promoted on Facebook by Andersen.

ELMER SOCKS FOR KIDSCAPE

Andersen Press has partnered with online retailer SockShop as part of Elmer’s role in Kidscape’s Friendship Friday initiative. SockShop has created children’s and adult Elmer socks to raise money and awareness for the anti-bullying charity’s Friendship Friday campaign.

Mini Club & JoJo Maman Bebe launch new Elmer collections

Retailers JoJo Maman Bebe and Mini Club at Boots have launched new Elmer apparel collections. JoJo Maman Bebe’s third Elmer range for boys and girls aged 0-6 features a top, hoodie, dress, leggings, sleepsuit and PJs. The range uses JoJo Maman Bebe’s signature breton stripe and also a striking new monochrome Elmer pattern. Mini Club’s first Elmer collection uses a new softer Elmer colour palette on a range of fashion items for babies aged 0-12m.

Lime Pictures signs Metrostar for TOWIE 10th Birthday campaign

Lime Pictures, producers of The Only Way is Essex, have appointed Metrostar to handle both the licensing and publishing for The Only Way is Essex. The legendary reality drama turns 10 in 2020 and Metrostar is seeking partners in key categories beauty, apparel, accessories and homewares. TOWIE and it’s cast have one of the UK’s largest social media following and the show was the 5th most requested show on the ITV Hub in 2018 with over 26 million requests.

Smiffy’s to launch Call The Midwife dress up

Dress up company Smiffy’s is launching a Call The Midwife dress up costume in Spring 2020. Call The Midwife is one of the World’s most popular dramas with an audience of over 9 million per episode on BBC One and high ratings in the US, Australia and Europe. The BBC has ordered three further series which will see the show on air until 2022.

Elmer signs with Drew Brady to support Kidscape anti-bullying campaign

Sock Shop owner, Drew Brady has signed with Elmer to produce patchwork socks for children and adults in support of Elmer’s partnership with anti-bullying charity Kidscape. The deal was put together by Metrostar and Louis Kennedy and the socks will be launched in October 2019, in advance of Anti-Bullying Week in November. Elmer fans will be able to wear their Elmer socks on Odd Socks Monday at the start of the week and proceeds will go to Kidscape.

Metrostar is Lead Agent For Elmer the Patchwork Elephant

Andersen Press has appointed Metrostar lead agent for its classic picture book property, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. Metrostar have worked with Andersen in the apparel category since 2016, growing it from scratch into a successful property with ranges in Sainsbury’s and JoJo Maman Bebe. Metrostar will now manage the entire consumer products programme for Elmer across all categories.
